THE QUESTION: What are the commuting habits of Anne Arundel County residents and workers?

According to a county report released this month, 144,033 people live and work in Anne Arundel County.

Those who live here and commute to workplaces outside of the county number 111,825.

Of Anne Arundel residents who work elsewhere in the Baltimore-Washington region, nearly 25 percent go to Prince George's County, 20 percent head to Baltimore City and 14 percent go to Washington.

The county draws 81,082 non-Anne Arundel residents into the county for their jobs.
