July 31, 2005

Police were investigating yesterday the deaths of an elderly couple in Harford County who were discovered in their home Friday evening during a routine visit.

Officers said they were checking on the well-being of the couple, who lived in the 500 block of Park Manor Circle in Bel Air, when they discovered the man and woman dead inside the home at 5:23 p.m.

There were no signs of forced entry or suspicious circumstances, according to a preliminary investigation by police.

The bodies were taken to the medical examiner's office in Baltimore for autopsies.

Police did not release the names of the couple last night.
