On Monday, July 25, 2005, WILLIAM H. CORKRAN JR., of Trappe, MD, beloved husband of Lucile Pierce Corkran, devoted father of Beverly Corkran Edgell and her husband, W.B. Edgell, Sharon Lynn Corkran and Kimberly Carol Corkran. Also survived by three grandchildren, Michael Colin Edgell and his wife, Jennifer Nicosia Edgell, Trevor Barlett Newcomb and his wife Lee Lynch Newcomb, and Tenley Baker Newcomb; and two great-grandchildren, Gardner Pierce Edgell and William Baker Newcomb. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2005, at 12 noon at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 100 Peachblossom Road, Easton, MD. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the Nantucket Historical Association.
