Triple-A International League

Ottawa 5, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 4: Bernie Castro's RBI double in the ninth lifted the visiting Lynx (51-52) over the Red Barons (50-54). Castro went 4-for-5 to raise his average to .322.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 10, Reading 2: Hayden Penn (4-4) went 6 1/3 innings, scattering eight hits and allowing two earned runs for the visiting Baysox (51-51). Chris Piersoll earned his first save, pitching 2 2/3 scoreless innings with seven srikeouts. Tripper Johnson went 2-for-4 with a bases-empty home run and two RBIs for Bowie. The Phillies dropped to 50-53.

Single-A Carolina League

Kinston 25, Frederick 4: The Indians (14-17) set a record for runs and had 27 hits as they routed the host Keys (15-11).

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 8, Hagerstown 7, 11 innings

Single-A New York-Penn League

Oneonta 6, Aberdeen 3: Cory Middleton, Justin Justice and Michael Holliman each homered for the visiting Tigers (20-12).

Rookie Appalachian League

Princeton 14, Bluefield 6: The Orioles' Angel Avila went 2-for-5 with three RBIs in the loss. The host Orioles slipped to 13-20 and the Devil Rays improved to 19-15.
