Triple-A International League

Pawtucket 7, Ottawa 5: Roberto Petagine's three-run homer highlighted a five-run first inning that helped the Red Sox (51-51) complete a four-game home sweep of the Lynx (49-52).

A three-run homer by Mike Moriarty in the fifth and Napoleon Calzado's RBI single an inning later cut the lead to 6-4. A sacrifice fly by Midre Cummings in the eighth capped the scoring for Ottawa, which dropped its fifth straight game.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 7, Reading 3: Brandon Fahey went 2-for-4 with two doubles to lead the visiting Baysox (50-51) over the Phillies (50-52).

Single-A Carolina League

Kinston 9, Frederick 3: Nick Markakis and Jeff Fiorentino homered for the Keys (15-10) in a loss to the visiting Indians (13-17).

Single-A South Atlantic League

Hagerstown 5, Delmarva 0: The Suns (11-18) scored four runs in the first inning and went on to defeat the visiting Shorebirds (21-9).

Single-A New York-Penn League

Oneonta 3, Aberdeen 1: Robert Marconi homered in the sixth inning to give the IronBirds (12-21) their lone run in a loss to the visiting Tigers (19-12).

Rookie Appalachian League

Princeton 9, Bluefield 5: The host Orioles (13-19) allowed three homers in a loss to the Devil Rays (18-15).
