On July 21, 2005, GERTRUDE AGNES HOPKINS, of Easton, died at William Hill Manor Health Care Center, Easton. She was 82 years old, born in Baltimore, MD, July 12, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Frederick J. Kohler and Eva M. Kohler. She was educated in Baltimore City Schools and was a licensed beautician. She worked for Hochschild-Kohn's Department Store, in Baltimore with her husband. She enjoyed a good social life while living in Baltimore City. Moving to the town of Easton, November 19, 1984, with her husband, she readily adapted to a different life style. She joined the Church of God, Easton, and was an active member. She belonged to the Easton Senior Center and enjoyed arts and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Hopkins, Sr.; daughter, Dolores A. Ford; son, Joseph A. Hopkins, Jr.; two grandchildren, two adopted grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 25, 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M., at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 2 P.M. at Angel Hill Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Wyman Park Drive, Suite 110, Baltimore, MD, 21211. Arrangements by Lee A.
