Triple-A International League

Pawtucket 7, Ottawa 1: Lenny DiNardo (4-2) pitched five scoreless innings and Mike Lockwood hit a two-run triple to lead the Red Sox (45-49) over the host Lynx (47-46).

Walter Young homered in the sixth inning for Ottawa's only run.

Double-A Eastern League

Trenton 2, Bowie 0: The Thunder (49-45) scored its runs in the third inning as it defeated the visiting Baysox (45-48), dropping them into fifth place. Matt Desalvo (6-3) pitched eight scoreless innings for the victory. Kurt Birkins (5-7) struck out eight in six innings but got the loss.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 5, Lake County 4: Right-hander Casey Cahill earned his second consecutive save, forcing Chris Giminez to pop out with the tying run on first base as the Shorebirds (17-6) defeated the visiting Captains (10-13). West Virginia 8, Hagerstown 5: The Power (12-11) scored three runs in the 14th inning to beat the host Suns (8-15) in a game that lasted nearly five hours.

Alcides Escobar hit a single down the left-field line to score the go-ahead run. Ryan Braun followed with a two-run single to put the Power up by three.

Justin Barnes (6-1) was the winning pitcher, and Jose Gomez (1-2) took the loss.

Single-A New York-Penn League

Aberdeen 1, Tri-City 0: Felipe Paulino Del Guidice committed a throwing error that allowed Francisco Guerrero to score the winning run as the IronBirds (9-16) beat the host Valley Cats (11-13).

David Hernandez (1-0) earned the win for Aberdeen.

Rookie Appalachian League

Bluefield 5, Kingsport 4: Stuart Musslewhite scored the winning run on a throwing error by the pitcher as the Orioles (10-15) rallied past the visiting Mets (12-13).
