Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Homicide: A man who was shot Tuesday night in the 400 block of Whitridge Ave. died Saturday night at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Damon Wilder, 21, of the 2200 block of Cecil Ave. was sitting on the front steps of a house about 10:40 p.m. when a gunman shot him in the head and upper body. A 3-year-old boy who standing nearby was hit in the leg by bullet fragments. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man was shot about 7 p.m. yesterday in the 3400 block of Park Heights Ave. and was taken to Sinai Hospital. Details of the shooting and the victim's condition were not available.

Eastern District

Arrrest: Rodney Brown, 24, of no fixed address was arrested Thursday in the 300 block of Brightwood Ave. by Warant Apprehension Task Force members on charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder. Brown is charged with fatally shooting Troy Bennett, 30, and wounding Jermain Handy, 31, June 18 in a house in the 1500 block of Holbrook St.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Carjacking: A motorist was stopped at Hiss Avenue and Glen Road about 2:15 a.m. Saturday by a man with a knife who robbed him of $125, forced him from his car and drove it away. The car was recovered later.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the office at the Crown station in the 900 block of York Road Saturday and removed an undisclosed sum of cash from a cabinet.
