Muslim group abhors bombings in London

Howard County Muslim Council (HCMC) condemns the bombing attacks on civilians in London on July 7 and extends their deep, heartfelt condolences to all those who have sustained injuries and those who have lost their loved ones in the London bombing.

This attack was a heinous crime against humanity. Such appalling acts of violence against innocent civilians as we have seen in London are condemned both in the revealed Words of the Quran and in the received wisdom from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to the families who have lost loved ones in this horrific act.

HCMC joins hands with people of faith and conscience to work for a just and peaceful world.

We condemn, oppose, and overcome those who try to spread fear, hatred, and death.

Irfan Malik
