Single-A South Atlantic League

Hagerstown 6, Lake County 5: Russ Triplett hit his second homer, a three-run shot, in the eighth inning to give the Suns (7-12) a 6-4 lead in a win over the host Captains (9-10). Triplett ended up with three hits and four RBIs.

Mike Devaney gave up four runs, one earned, in six innings for Hagerstown. Jose Gomez (1-1) got the win in relief, and Marcelo Perez earned his seventh save.

Delmarva 7, Lexington 1: Orioles ace Erik Bedard pitched five shutout innings in a rehabilitation assignment with the Shorebirds. He finished with nine strikeouts and one walk.

Bluefield at Bristol: Last night's game was suspended in the top of the third inning with the Orioles leading 1-0 on the road.
