Ottawa 6, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 2: Walter Young and Napoleon Calzado both went 3-for-4 and accounted for half of the host Lynx's runs.

Double-A Eastern League

New Britain 13, Bowie 6: Hayden Penn (3-4) suffered the loss for the host Baysox (44-44), pitching 4 2/3 innings and allowing five earned runs on six hits.

Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 3, Lynchburg 0: Mario Delgado hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning for the host Keys (5-6).

Single-A South Atlantic League

West Virginia 2, Hagerstown 1: The visiting Suns (6-3) were held to just two hits in their loss to the Power (7-10). Delmarva 7, Lake County 5: Quincy Ascencion hit a grand slam in the top of the seventh inning for the visiting Shorebirds (6-7).

Single-A New York-Penn League

New Jersey 9, Aberdeen 5: The IronBirds (5-14) continued to struggle offensively and lost their fourth consecutive game to end the season's first quarter.

Rookie Appalachian League

Danville 5, Bluefield 4: Brandon Erbe (McDonogh) pitched two-thirds of an inning, giving up a homer and striking out two batters for the Orioles (7-12). The Braves improved to 13-5.
