Robbery try/shooting: A 28-year-old man was reported in good condition at Sinai Hospital after he was shot in the back while fleeing from three men who attempted to rob him in the 4700 block of Park Heights Ave. about 2 a.m. yesterday.

Southern District

Assault: Francisco Gerardo, 31, was driving in the 600 block of E. Fort Ave. about 1:50 a.m. Saturday when he stopped suddenly to avoid hitting a man who appeared intoxicated. After an exchange of words, the pedestrian threw a bottle that hit Gerardo in the face. He was treated for minor injuries.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Copper fittings and tubing - all valued at $5,000 - were stolen over the weekend from a shed outside Dumbarton Middle School.- Richard Irwin
