Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Anne Arundel County.

Northern District

Armed Robbery: Someone with a knife robbed the Liberty Mart in the 200 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie about 5 a.m. July 1. The person fled in a black Jeep Cherokee.

Stabbing: Police arrested two men and were looking for a third after the stabbing of a Hanover man early Thursday. The victim went to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he was treated.


Theft: Someone stole 12 shirts, valued at about $700, from Fawcett's Boat Supply about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. The crime was taped on a video surveillance camera.

Eastern District

Theft: A Severn man said that several pieces of jewelry were stolen from his home between November and Wednesday. The man was missing a gold chain, six diamond rings and three diamond bracelets. The jewelry was estimated to be worth $3,700.

Theft: An Annapolis man reported that a $4,000 bike was stolen from a parking lot at Sam's Club in Annapolis on Tuesday morning. The bike was locked in the man's red 1968 International Harvester pickup.

Western District

Destruction of property: An unknown person or group of people spray-painted two signs and set off fireworks at Walden Golf Course in Crofton on Monday or Tuesday. The signs, worth $800 and $1,200, were spray-painted white and there was a burn mark on the 15th green.
