Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Arrest: Police have arrested James McMullen, 27, of the 600 block of Baker St. in the June 22 shooting of Daniel Rockwell, 29, who was wounded in the 2000 block of McCulloh St. Rockwell, who lives in the 800 block of Lennox St., survived. McMullen was arrested Wednesday. He was charged with attempted first-degree murder and is being held at the City Detention Center without bail.

Southeastern District

Purse Snatch: An unarmed suspect took the purse of a 28-year-old woman unloading groceries in the 1800 block of Gough St. about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Two men accompanying the victim chased the thief, but they were wearing flip-flops and quickly lost the robber. An MP3 player and a cell phone were in the purse.

Eastern District

Armed Robbery: A 16-year-old boy walking in the 1500 block of N. Harford Road was robbed of a cell phone and watch worth $150 about 3 p.m. Wednesday by two men who pulled up on a mo-ped. One of the men brandished a handgun and told the boy, "Don't move. If you run, I will blow your brains out."
