Wesley Grove sponsors Vacation Bible School

Wesley Grove United Methodist Church will sponsor a Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to July 15, 1320 Dorsey Road, Hanover.

The Theme is "Blast Off with Jesus," and features songs, skits, games, stories, crafts and refreshments.

There is a $10 donation per child or $15 per family, which entitles the donor to a T-shirt. Information: 410-761-9119.

30th annual Peach Festival scheduled for July 30

Eastport United Methodist Church will sponsor its 30th annual Peach Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 30, in the Fellowship Hall, 926 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis.

Activities will include a flea market, bake sale, craft boutique and dinner.

The cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children younger than 12. Carryout dinners will be available.

Orders are being taken for peach cakes at $5 each, and pickled beets are $5 per quart or $3 per pint. Information: 410-263-5490.
