TUESDAY

County Council: The Anne Arundel County Council will meet at 7 p.m. for public hearings on the proposed adoption of new comprehensive zoning maps for the area shown on the Pasadena/Marley Neck and Lake Shore Small Area Plans, as well as a bill that would ban dumping on county property. Meetings are held in the council chambers in the Arundel Center, 44 Calvert St., Annapolis.

WEDNESDAY

School board: The Anne Arundel County school board will meet at 10 a.m. to elect new officers and vote on a negotiated agreement between a planned Annapolis charter school and the county teachers union. Meetings are held in the school board chambers at the district headquarters, 2644 Riva Road, Annapolis. 410-222-5311.

Beverage control board: The Annapolis Alcoholic Beverage Control Board will meet at 3 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 160 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis.

Senior center: The Pascal Senior Center will hold an information session at 12:30 p.m. about the Medicare prescription drug benefit. Representatives from the Senior Health Insurance Program of the Department of Aging will provide information and assistance to aid seniors with the transition to the new Medicare prescription drug program. The session will be held at 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie.
