MLB: Suspended Rangers P Kenny Rogers for 20 games and fined him an undisclosed amount for his physical confrontations with two cameramen. Suspended Nationals minor leaguer Ramon Castro for 105 games and fined him an undisclosed amount for two separate violations and Nationals minor leaguer Josh Labandeira for 15 games for violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Announced that Home Run Derby on All-Star weekend will have new format, with eight players representing their native countries instead of four players from each league.

ANGELS: Recalled P Kevin Gregg from Triple-A Salt Lake. Optioned IF Robb Quinlan to Salt Lake.

CARDINALS: Signed SS Tyler Greene, 30th overall pick in amateur draft, and P Mark McCormick, 44th overall pick in amateur draft, to minor league contracts.

GIANTS: Placed P Jesse Foppert on 15-day DL, retroactive to June 25.
