On June 24, 2005, HOWARD ELWOOD WILINSON peacefully passed over in his beloved wife's and children's arms at home. Howard, 64, suffered a brief, but courageous battle against pancreatic cancer. Howard was born in Baltimore, MD, where he met his wife of 26 years, Cindy Wilkinson, now a resident of Antioch, Calif. He is also survived by his son, Kevin Wilkinson of Antioch, daughters; Jennifer Wilkinson of Seattle, Wash., Leslie Wilkinson of Antioch, Calif., and Karen Wilkinson of Ellensburg, Wash., step-daughters; Jamaie Whitney and Jennifer Bowers, both of Glen Burnie, Maryland; 6 step-grandchildren, all of Glen Burnie; and his sister, Doris Christoph, of Kerrville, Texas. Howard spent two years in the Army - October 1963 through September 1965. He retired from Social Security Administration in Baltimore in 1989 after working for 23 years as a Computer Scheduler and moved to California. Howard then worked as a Satellite Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, Calif., and after completing work on the Lunar Prospector. Howard continued working for Black Tie Transportation in Pleasanton, Calif. Howard was a loving family man whose interests included his family, home, domestic travel, camping, computer games, sci-fi reading, and sports with his children. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. A celebration of Howard's life will be held at his home Saturday, July 2, at 2 P.M. For further information, please contact his wife at (925) 642-4164.
