Syracuse 8, Ottawa 3: Kevin Barker went 3-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the SkyChiefs (39-38) over the visiting Lynx (37-38).

The Lynx had four extra-base hits as Midre Cummings hit a bases-empty home run and Alejandro Freire, Walter Young and Bobby Darula all doubled.

Double-A Eastern League

New Hampshire 3, Bowie 1: Omar Rogers homered in the sixth inning but it wasn't enough as the Baysox (37-39) lost to the Fisher Cats (39-36) at home.

Single-A Carolina League

Potomac 8, Frederick 0: Michael Hinckley (2-3) struck out six through eight innings as the Nationals (3-3) shut out the visiting Keys (2-3).

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 5, Lakewood 4: Reliever Joe Coppinger forced Bradley Harman into a groundout in the ninth inning to earn his first save and preserve the win for the Shorebirds (3-3) over the host Blue Claws (4-2).

Lexington 5, Hagerstown 2: Rafael Cova (4-3) gave up four runs as the host Suns (2-4) lost to the Legends (4-2).

Single-A New York-Penn League

Brooklyn 9, Aberdeen 0: The host Cyclones (4-2) had 12 hits as they kept the IronBirds (0-6) winless.

Rookie Appalachian League

Danville 15, Bluefield 3: The bullpen surrendered 10 hits as the Orioles (2-4) lost to the visiting Braves (5-1).
