Bayhawks today

Matchup: Rochester Rattlers (0-4) vs. Bayhawks (4-0)

Site: Johnny Unitas Stadium, Towson University

Time: 4 p.m.

TV/Radio: None

Outlook: Still looking for their first win, the Rattlers will be without Ryan Powell at attack for the third straight week, but brother Casey is expected to play. Against the Bayhawks' league-leading offense (85 goals, 49 assists), Rattlers G Tillman Johnson (16 GAA) will miss defensive stalwart Regy Thorpe, who tore an anterior cruciate ligament in last week's home game against the Bayhawks. Baltimore won, 18-11, coming back from an 8-2 deficit at halftime. Tom Marechek, one of three Bayhawks among the Major League Lacrosse's top five scorers, attributed the slow start to travel. Back on home turf, the Bayhawks hope to build on an imposing 55-17 home scoring advantage while maintaining their league-low goals against of 39. A victory would give the Bayhawks the best start in MLL history.
