Sandra A. Kimball, 58, IRS service representative

Sandra A. Kimball, a retired Internal Revenue Service customer service representative, died of renal failure June 17 at Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care. The Pikesville resident was 58.

She was born in Baltimore and raised on Moreland Avenue. She was a 1964 graduate of Edmondson High School and went to work for the IRS in 1966.

During her 35-year career, Miss Kimball worked as a customer service representative in Washington, Owings Mills and at the George H. Fallon Federal Building in Hopkins Plaza. She retired in 2001.

She had been an active member and a regional representative for the Advancement and Improvement of Minorities, an organization for minority IRS employees.

Miss Kimball was a member for more than 30 years of Gillis Memorial Christian Community Church where she sang with the sanctuary choir and helped with the youth choir.

She was an avid traveler.

Services were held yesterday at her church.

Miss Kimball is survived by a daughter, Tracei A. Johnson of Pikesville; a brother, Ronald Kimball of Baltimore; two sisters, Dorothy James of Westminster and Jaki White of Baltimore; and a grandson.
