Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Arrest: Marquis Mayo, 16, of the 2700 block of Tivoly Ave. was arrested Wednesday in Princess Anne by members of Baltimore's Warrant Apprehension Task Force and Somerset County sheriff's deputies on warrants charging him as an adult with attempted murder. He is charged with shooting Toni McIntosh, 22, and Tavon Wheeler, 20, on June 7 in the 2700 block of Tivoly Ave.

Southwestern District

Arrest: Myrick Channing, 24, was arrested Wednesday in Frederick on a warrant charging him with attempted murder in the shooting May 27 of Kenneth Williams, 24, in the 2500 block of W. Lombard St.

Southern District

Shootings: Police were seeking three gunmen who fired into a group of people standing in the 2600 block of Seamon Ave. about 3 a.m. Wednesday. A 17-year-old girl was wounded in the left leg, and a 19-year-old man was shot in the right leg.

Northern District

Burglary/arrest: Responding to a burglary-in-progress call in the 5800 block of Bellona Ave. early Wednesday, Officer Scott Dixon noticed a ladder leaning against a rear window of a house and a screen that had been cut. When backup units arrived, a man ran out the back door and was arrested. Charged with burglary was Martin Schneider, 58, a next-door neighbor.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Arrest: After Officer David Olschewske of the Maryland Transportation Authority Police stopped a northbound 2001 Chevrolet on Interstate 95 near Pulaski Highway for a tag light violation early Wednesday, the driver told him he had marijuana, the officer said. A search turned up a small amount of the illegal substance. Arrested and charged with marijuana possession was James T. Dean, 33, of the 900 block of Reverdy Road in North Baltimore.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered an apartment in the first block of Dowling Circle about 2 p.m. Wednesday and robbed three occupants of cash and a cellular telephone.

Franklin Precinct

Vandalism: Someone entered Worthington Valley Swim Club in the 2500 block of Baublitz Road early Tuesday and poured motor oil in the swimming pool.
