Triple-A International League

Toledo 5, Ottawa 2: International League Pitcher of the Week John Maine fell to 6-5 as he gave up three runs on four hits in six innings in the Lynx's loss at home. Ryan Rayburn hit a three-run homer in the sixth to give the Mud Hens (42-28) the lead. Tim Raines Jr. homered with a man on in the seventh inning for Ottawa (36-34).

Double-A Eastern League

Altoona 9, Bowie 5: Joey Hammond hit his third homer of the season in the Baysox's loss. He finished going 2-for-4 with two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk. Bowie fell to 34-37, and the host Curve improved to 39-31.

Single-A Carolina League

Winston-Salem 7, Frederick 6: Nick Markakis hit two of the host Keys' four home runs, but the Warthogs (1-1) scored four runs in the sixth inning to defeat Frederick (1-1).

Single-A South Atlantic League

Lake County 3, Delmarva 1: Matt Whitney's RBI single in the fourth inning drove home the go-ahead run as the Captains (1-0) beat the visiting Shorebirds (0-1). Whitney hit a sharp bouncer off the glove of pitcher Luis Ramirez (2-4) in the bottom of the fourth inning, driving home Josh Noviskey from second base to break a 1-1 tie. Hagerstown 8, Lakewood 5
