ATHLETICS: Recalled P Jairo Garcia from Triple-A Sacramento. Purchased contract of P Ron Flores from Sacramento. Optioned P Juan Cruz to Sacramento. Designated P Tim Harikkala for assignment.

GIANTS: Placed P LaTroy Hawkins on 15-day DL, retroactive to June 10, with right ulnar neuritis. Purchased contract of P Brandon Puffer from Triple-A Fresno.
