Bowie 2, Trenton 0: Luis Matos hit a two-run homer to left-center field off Jon Skaggs (2-6) to lift the visiting Baysox (32-33) over the Thunder (34-32). With two outs in the fifth inning, Brandon Fahey got hit by a pitch to set up Matos' homer. Winner Kurt Berkins (4-5) went six innings, gave up three hits, walked one and struck out five. Sendy Rleal earned his fourth save.

Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 9, Winston-Salem 4: Josh McCurdy had a hand in eight of the nine runs for the visiting Keys (33-33), scoring three and driving in five. Fredy Deza (1-3) got the win and Marino Salas picked up his fifth save. Fraser Dizard (3-6) took the loss for the Warthogs (36-30).
