UMBC: Named Katie Rokus first assistant and recruiting coordinator of women's basketball program.

MOUNT ST. MARY'S: Naomi Campano Radio was named Valley National Bank Women's Lacrosse Scholar Athlete for second straight year.

SALISBURY: Announced that Justin Smith (Pallotti), Sean White (Calvert Hall), Dan Korpon (Severna Park) and Jeff Bigas were named to USILA NCAA Division III All-America team. Smith won Iroquois National Award, which is presented to NCAA Division III outstanding player, and Fran McCall Award, which is presented to Division III outstanding midfielder. White won Division III Outstanding Long Pole Midfielder Award. Korpon won Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award as most outstanding Division III goalie. Bigas won William C. Stiles Memorial Award as most outstanding defensive player and was Capital Athletic Conference Player of Year.

NFL: Suspended Colts S Mike Doss for first two regular-season games after pleading no contest to misdemeanor gun charges.
