Festival of the Arts highlights

The Columbia Festival of the Arts continues through Sunday. Here are some highlights from the schedule:

Today

Gaelic Storm (6:30 p.m., Centennial Park, Centennial Lane in Ellicott City, free): If you saw Titanic, then you have seen Gaelic Storm, which blends traditional Celtic sounds with tons of energy. A preperformance workshop with the Teelin School of Irish Dance will be held at 5:30 p.m.

Tomorrow

Phonk by Scrap Arts Music (7:30 p.m., Rouse Theatre, tickets $18-$35): An energetic mix of original music, some performed on instruments created by the five musicians, as well as hyper-kinetic movement, are planned.
