THE QUESTION: HOW MUCH TRASH CAN I PUT OUT AT ONE TIME?

The answer depends on who hauls your trash.

If you live in an unincorporated area of Carroll County and contract with an independent waste hauler, you need to contact the company directly to inquire about its setout requirements and limitations.

If you live in one of the county's municipalities -- Hampstead, Manchester, Mount Airy, New Windsor, Sykesville, Taneytown, Union Bridge and Westminster -- you should contact your town's municipal offices.
