June 12, 2005|By Tyrone Richardson | Tyrone Richardson,SUN STAFF

Two people died of gunshot wounds at a home in Glen Burnie yesterday, authorities said.

About 11:20 a.m., Anne Arundel County police responded to shots fired at a home in the 500 block of Kintop Road. Officers found Carolyn Ruth Boner, 58, dead and Robert Neil Boner, 62, unconscious in a bedroom. Police said both suffered gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to North Arundel Hospital, where he died, police said.

Yesterday afternoon, yellow police tape surrounded the driveway to the red-and-gray, single-story home where the shootings occurred. Neighbors looked on at a crime lab van parked in front of the home. Many neighbors said they did not know the family well and declined to comment.

Police said they found a handgun at the home but did not know whether it was used in the shootings. Police were investigating yesterday.
