Triple-A International League

Ottawa 6, Columbus 1: Winner John Maine (5-4) went six innings and struck out four for the visiting Lynx (30-29). Maine, 3.57 ERA, held the Clippers (36-25) to three hits and one run, a homer by Andy Phillips in the sixth. Ottawa scored three runs in the first and seventh innings.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 9, Portland 7: Powered by Joey Hammond's four RBIs and a double, the host Baysox (30-30) defeated the Sea Dogs (30-24).

Kurt Birkins (3-5) recorded the win, striking out five in 6 1/3 innings.

Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 7, Potomac 6: Branden Florence's two-run homer in the seventh inning sealed the win for the Keys (30-31) over the visiting Nationals (28-33).

Potomac's Doc Brooks scored on an Endy Chavez single to cut the lead to one in the bottom of the eighth, but center fielder Jeff Fiorentino threw out the tying run at the plate.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Lake County 4, Hagerstown 3: The Captains (36-26) scored two in the seventh to top the Suns (37-25) at home.

Delmarva 4, Lakewood 3: Jason Fransz hit a two-out, two-run walk-off homer to rally the host Shorebirds (27-35) past the Blue Claws (21-40).
