Player of the Year

Michelle Bosserman, Centennial

The senior second baseman, a four-year starter, had 120 career hits and batted .524 this season with 31 runs scored from her leadoff position for the Howard County champion Eagles (20-1).

With four doubles, three triples and 12 RBIs, the team captain was able to hit for power and had exceptional speed on the bases. In the field she made just one error. She'll attend Bowling Green.

Coach of the Year

Dale Huting, Centennial

Coaching his 19th varsity season at Centennial, Huting guided the Eagles to 20 straight victories until losing to Mount Hebron in the regional championship game.

Although the undefeated season was spoiled, it was still Centennial's best record ever.

During his tenure, Centennial has won 275 games and lost 100. The Eagles have won seven county titles and three regional titles.
