Father's Day at Ladew

Celebrate Father's Day on Tuesday with a "Hooray for Daddies" storytime session at Ladew Topiary Gardens. Fathers and their small children can relax on their blankets and enjoy the lush gardens as they listen to stories about all kinds of fathers. Families can picnic or buy lunch at the cafe, take a nature walk to see turtles and ducks or browse the gift shop.

UniverSoul Circus

The UniverSoul Circus makes a stop in Baltimore from Tuesday through June 19 on the Security Square Mall parking lot. Founded in Atlanta, the UniverSoul Circus is in its 12th year and features 17 acts from across the world, including African wire walkers, Chinese trapeze artists and Argentinean pole balancers. This urban-flavored Big Top combines traditional circus elements such as clowns and elephants with salsa, hip-hop, gospel and jazz artistry. Shuckey Duckey and Patrice Lovely, known for their dance moves and entertaining personalities, lead the show.

Scottish Festival

Grab your kilt and be Scottish for the day Saturday at the Scottish Festival at the Steppingstone Museum in Havre de Grace. Scottish clans, dancing and live entertainment by a pipe band are planned. Sheep-herding, spinning and weaving will be demonstrated. Food will be available. And vendors will sell Scottish collectibles. Also, guests can visit the museum, which is dedicated to rural arts and crafts of the late 19th century in Harford County.
