Correction

June 08, 2005

A Metro Digest item yesterday incorrectly characterized the actions of the Baltimore City Council in requiring an audit of the state's attorney's office. While some council members indicated they support such a requirement, the full council did not approve it.

An obituary for retired Rear Adm. Ronald F. Marryott yesterday incorrectly stated the rank of Vice Adm. Rodney P. Rempt, superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy.

An article in yesterday's Sports section misidentified the agency that denied running back Jamal Lewis' request to attend the Ravens minicamp. The U.S. Probation Office in Atlanta rejected his request.

The Sun regrets the errors.
