Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Shootings: Three boys were treated at Sinai Hospital early yesterday for minor wounds after being shot behind a house in the 2400 block of Shirley Ave. The boys - ages 15, 14 and 13 - told police they were standing in the yard about 1:30 a.m. when a gunman fired on them from the alley.

Robbery: Two men entered a Shell station in the 2200 block of W. Cold Spring Lane at shift change about 6:30 p.m. Sunday and forced two employees counting receipts to give them money.

Western District

Theft: A woman left her purse containing $480 on a table at Burger King in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. on Saturday afternoon; it was gone when she returned.

Southeastern District

Assault: Police were seeking a man who attacked another man, 52, in the 500 block of S. Ponca St. about 11:30 a.m. Sunday and struck the victim several times in the head with a chunk of concrete. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Vandalism: At least 10 parked vehicles were spray-painted early Sunday on Somerset Drive and nearby Prospect Avenue.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 8800 block of Wilson Ave. on Sunday, destroyed a china cabinet valued at $5,000, and took $4.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A man robbed the Paper Shop in the 2100 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum about 1:20 p.m. Sunday.
