Family member calls police after burned minivan discovered in city

Baltimore County police today announced they are investigating a homicide over the weekend in the Woodlawn area.

Robert Jerome Johnson Jr., 35, of the 5900 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. was found dead inside his home Saturday, according to police. A concerned family member called police after Johnson's white Pontiac Transport minivan was found burned in the 1700 block of Braddish Ave. in Baltimore City, authorities said.

Johnson's body was taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
