THE QUESTION: WHERE CAN I FIND THE SELLING PRICES FOR PROPERTIES ON MY STREET?

Maryland's Department of Assessments and Taxation provides online access to its "real property data search" at http: / / www.dat.state.md.us / sdatweb / datanote.html.

Anyone can use a street address to find a property anywhere in the state.

Each listing also contains the name of the owner, the most recent selling price and seller, size of the lot and a description of any improvements.

Or, you could search by "property sales" to find out how many homes on your street have sold recently and the prices.

The department updates its data on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning.
