Baltimore City's Department of Transportation this afternoon announced that a portion of Conway Street will temporarily close tonight and tomorrow night for utility work.
Eastbound Conway Street will be closed at the intersection of Charles Street, officials said. The road closure will be implemented between 7 p.m. and midnight each night, with detours in effect.
Traffic will be detoured north on Charles Street, east on Pratt Street, then south onto Light Street, according to the department.
Three lanes of through traffic will also be closed along northbound Light Street at the Conway Street intersection during this time period, officials said. Motorists traveling in this vicinity were encouraged to use alternate routes.
