Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Arrest: Artis Page, 23, was arrested yesterday near his home in the 3200 block of Sequoia Ave. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of first-degree murder. Page is charged in a warrant with shooting Wentley Tyrone Roberts, 35, of the 3700 block of Hayward Ave. late April 1 in the 5200 block of Cuthbert Ave.

Western District

Shooting: Kenneth Neal, 19, was arguing with another man in the 700 block of Allegany Place about 1:15 p.m. yesterday when he was shot in the left leg. The victim was released after treatment at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Theft: A motorized scooter valued at nearly $1,100 was stolen Tuesday from in front of a house in the 2100 block of W. Baltimore St.

Central District

Robbery: A 39-year-old woman was walking in the 800 block of N. Howard St. about 6 a.m. Tuesday when a man stepped from a Ford sedan, implied he was armed and robbed her of $14.

Theft try/arrest: The owner of a Chevrolet van spotted a man using a screwdriver to enter his vehicle parked in the 300 block of W. Pratt St. about 11 a.m. Tuesday, and held him for police. Arrested by Officer Michael Alessi and charged with attempted theft was Earl Crampton, 42, of the 3000 block of Walbrook Ave.

Northeastern District

Assault: A shot fired from a westbound sport utility vehicle in the 4200 block of Frankford Ave. shattered a window of another vehicle about 3 a.m. Monday and sprayed an 18-year-old male passenger with glass. He was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital and released.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered Model Machine Co. in the 1400 block of S. Haven St. through a side door Tuesday and stole $9,300 worth of equipment, including three computers.

Burglary: A tuxedo and accessories were stolen Tuesday from Tuxedo Zone in the 3300 block of Eastern Ave. They were valued at $700.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Several cigarette lighters, packs of cigarettes and five T-shirts were stolen early Tuesday from Speedy Mart in the 3800 block of Hollins Ferry Road by someone who entered after breaking a window.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A safe containing an undisclosed sum of money was stolen Tuesday from the office of D & S Towing in the 10100 block of Marble Court.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 600 block of Knoll Crest Place on Monday through a sliding glass door and stole a TV and a laptop computer.
