The Futureheads / Sonar

The Futureheads, a British pop rock group, are making their way around the States, including a stop at Baltimore nightclub Sonar tomorrow night.

Santana and Los Lonely Boys / Merriweather

Guitar master Santana and Los Lonely Boys - the brothers who deliver what they call "Texican rock 'n' roll" - take to the stage at Merriweather Post Pavilion Tuesday night at 7. (Gates open at 5:30 p.m.)

Merriweather is on Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia. Tickets are $30.50-$75.50 and are available through Ticketmaster.

Voices of the Chesapeake / Creative Alliance

Local artists are the focus of Saturday's Songs of the Chesapeake Bay performance at the Creative Alliance. Performers include Deanna Dove, Robin Jung, Mike Garfinkel, Tom Wisner, Mike Aiken, Them Eastport Oyster Boys, Dominick Murray and Robbin Thompson. The concert is promoting the CD of the same name, proceeds from which benefit four organizations working to protect the Chesapeake Bay.

Ryan Adams / Meyerhoff

Ryan Adams and the Cardinals come to the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Tuesday night at 8, playing the songs from Adams' approximately one-billionth CD. (OK, it only seems like the alt-country wunderkind, once of Whiskeytown and now releasing solo albums and getting involved in other collaborations, has released innumerable albums. Cold Roses is his latest.)
