Hometown: Baltimore

Current members: Rudy "Rude Dog" Strukoff, guitar and vocals; Linwood Taylor, guitar and vocals; Reds Adkins, bass; Barry "B-Funk" Turner, drums

Founded in: 1998

Style: funkafied rhythm and blues

Influenced by: Muddy Waters, James Brown, Funkadelic, Robert Johnson

Notable: When the band played at Artscape 2003, the city made T-shirts with their name right near the names of headliners Al Green and Blues Traveler.

Quotable: Strukoff on the T-shirts: "We got all that we could get that were in our size that were left. The boys in the band went over and bought as many as they could. I still have three shirts, I think."

Hear Strukoff and Taylor in an open acoustic jam Sunday at the Cat's Eye Pub. The music starts at 9:30 p.m. No cover. Cat's Eye Pub is at 1730 Thames St. For more information, call 410-276-9866 or visit www.catseyepub.com.
