Triple-A International League

Columbus 2, Ottawa 0: Sean Henn went the distance as the visiting Clippers (28-24) defeated the slumping Lynx (26-23) for the second straight game.

Henn (3-1) didn't allow a hit - and had retired 13 straight - before Walter Young singled to lead off the eighth.

Losing pitcher John Maine (3-4) scattered six hits and struck out seven through six innings.

The Lynx have dropped three straight and six of their past seven games.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 6, Reading 2: Tripper Johnson drove in two runs to lift the Baysox (25-26) over the host Phillies (21-31).

Kurt Birkins (2-4) allowed seven hits and struck out six through six innings for the win.

Allen Davis (4-4) was the loser.

Single-A Carolina League

Salem 5, Frederick 4: Mario Garza homered in the eighth to put the Avalanche (20-32) up by two en route to its victory over the host Keys (25-27).

Single-A South Atlantic League

Lakewood 8, Hagerstown 4: Blake Eager gave up seven hits and a home run to Ryan Frith as the BlueClaws (17-35) defeated the host Suns (32-19).

Delmarva 5, West Virginia 2: Radhames Liz (1-0) struck out seven to give the host Shorebirds (24-28) a victory over the Power (16-36).
