On May 19, 2005, VERNON HARRY GALLAWAY, devoted husband of Elizabeth Pearl (nee Haas), beloved father of Kathleen Ahlstrom and her husband Robert, Mary Gallaway Cockey, dear grandfather of Melissa Bowlin and her husband Lance, Lt. Jonathan Ahlstrom and his wife Megan, Andrew Ahlstrom, Matthew and William Cockey. Great-grandfather of Adam Bowlin. Mr. Gallaway was a retiree from C&P Telephone Co. and a member of the Telephone Pioneers A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1108 Providence Rd. on Monday at 7 P.M. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Thomas Outreach Fund, 1108 Providence Rd., Towson, MD 21286.
