Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Stolen vehicle: A Burgundy 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was reported stolen in the 5400 block of Pulaski Highway about 9 a.m. Thursday. The owner had parked it on the street beside his business.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone used a saw to cut a hole in the garage door of a house in the 2500 block of McComas in White Hall on Thursday morning, but nothing appeared to have been taken.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Three men knocked on the door of a house in the 1300 block of Longview Ave. about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, telling the owner they were from the water department and needed to check the water. While one man stayed with the owner, the others stole $510 from a bedroom. They left in a white Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck.

Burglary: While the owner was working in the front yard, someone entered a house in the 8000 block of Philadelphia Road through the unlocked rear door about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, taking a wallet and jewelry valued at $3,100 from a bedroom.

Essex Precinct

Carjacking: A taxi passenger pulled a gun on the driver and stole his car about 2:50 a.m. Wednesday at Breslin Court and Averil Road. The robber also took $20 in cash and a cell phone. The car was found later on Capella Court.
