On Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Georgetown Med. Ctr. in Washington, DC, ROSEMARY PHELAN, 66. Rosemary was born in Albany, NY on May 17, 1938, the daughter of Dr. John J. and Ruth Carrigan Phelan. A graduate of Vincentian Institute and the College of St. Rose. Rosemary was the director of IT for the National Council of Architectural Registration Board. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Washington Redskins. She enjoyed spending time with her family and did extensive traveling. Survivors include: her sister, Anne P. Ryan and her husband John, of Guilderland; brothers, Dr. John J. Phelan, of Guilderland, David W. Phelan and his wife Jeanette, of Rotterdam and Peter K. Phelan, of Albany. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Rosemary was predeceased by her brothers, Richard and G. Robert Phelan and sisters, Ruth Mary Phelan and Joan Phelan Tarr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10 A.M. in Christ the King Church, 20 Sumpter Ave, Westmere. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave, Albany, on Friday from 4 to 6 P.M. The Parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 4:30 P.M., in the funeral home for a service of prayer and rememberance. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ the King Building Fund, 20 Sumpter Ave, Albany, NY 12203 or the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211.
