Nepalese folk singer

Hear Nepalese folk superstar (and Baltimore restaurant manager) Prem Raja Mahat when he takes the stage tomorrow at the Ottobar. The singer has released more than 40 albums in his home country. He left Nepal to escape a Maoist insurgency.

Pimlico Derby Day

Celebrate Derby Day at Pimlico on Saturday. There will be a mini-beer fest featuring local breweries and live music. Pimlico will run its own set of races starting at 12:45 p.m. The Kentucky Derby will be shown on big-screen television live (about 6:15 p.m.).

Cinco de Mayo

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo tonight at Mosaic. The outdoor lounge presents West Coast DJ Miguel Migs. He'll be accompanied by vocalist Lisa Shaw. DJ Lovegrove and Adam Auburn will also perform.
