Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Road rage: Joseph J. Palumbo, 36, was driving west on North Avenue and attempting to turn north on the Jones Falls Expressway about 5 p.m. Wednesday when a woman driving a 2004 Nissan Xterra sport utility vehicle cut him off. Both vehicles were northbound on the expressway moments later and each got off at the Falls Road exit ramp. At Falls Road and 36th Street, the drivers became involved in a verbal argument before the woman pulled out, leaned out of the driver's window and shot out Palumbo's windshield with a BB pistol. Palumbo gave the SUV's tag number to police, who learned the identity of the male owner as they sought the driver.

Theft: An unknown sum in cash and coins was stolen Wednesday from a 2003 Toyota 4-Runner sport utility vehicle parked in the driveway of a house in the 4400 block of Norwood Road.

Southern District

Robbery try: Three males broke into a house in the 3800 block of 10th St. about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday and attempted to rob the 42-year-old occupant after assaulting him. The trio fled for an unknown reason without any property or money.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary: An intruder entered a house in the 800 block of Brunswick Road through a door Wednesday and removed $400 from a bedroom.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking two men, one with a handgun, who robbed Pizza Villa in the 900 block of Leeds Ave. of $50 about 1 a.m. Wednesday.
