Triple-A International League

Ottawa 4, Scranton 3: Alejandro Freire went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs as the visiting Lynx (11-8) moved into a first-place tie in the North Division with the Red Barons (11-8). Freire, who leads the league with a .422 average, also had two doubles and two runs. Winner Tony Fiore gave up one run on three hits over six innings.

Double-A Eastern League

Akron 5, Bowie 1: The South Division-leading Aeros (11-8) completed their three-game sweep of the visiting Baysox (8-12). Akron starter Brian Slocum allowed two hits in six innings.

Single-A Carolina League

Frederick 7, Winston-Salem 4: Richard Stahl (3-1) notched his third victory of the year, going six innings and giving up two unearned runs for the visiting Keys. Tony Neal earned his fourth save after a scoreless ninth inning.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Hagerstown 4, Lake County 1, 1st game Lake County 9, Hagerstown 7, 2nd game Asheville 4 Delmarva 1: Matthew Miller hit a homer for the Tourists in their win over the host Shorebirds.
