On April 23, 2005, ROBERT KIM CARTER of Washington, DC, Robert was born in Korea and had resided in the US since 1970. In 1981, he graduated from the Loyola High School in Towson, MD, and he attended the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, where he majored in computer science. Robert was the former owner of Digital Gateway Systems. Inc., in Vienna, VA, and was currently employed by the Startec Global Communications, Rockville, MD, where he was employed as a Systems Administrator. He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Kim, devoted brother Ronald T. Carter, several aunts and uncles including Kwong, OK (Paul) Richardson, many cousins, including Michelle Lee (John) OH, and his companion Rekik Taye. On Thursday, April 28, from 6 P. M to 9 P. M family and friends will be gathering at HINES-RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, and again on Friday from 9 A. M until service at 12 noon.
