Calvert Hall rally beats Severn, 6-5

Sophomore attackman D.J. Comer scored the game-winning goal with 39 seconds left to give No. 5 Calvert Hall a 6-5, come-from-behind victory over No. 11 Severn yesterday in boys lacrosse.

The Cardinals (9-3) were led in scoring by Towson University-bound midfielder Phil Blevins and junior midfielder Walker Jungers, who had two goals apiece.

The Admirals (7-6) led 3-2 at halftime, but could not hold on.

No. 3 Boys' Latin 11, St. Mary's 3: Brett Weiss had four goals and Chris Boland had a goal and four assists as the visiting Lakers (13-1) earned the victory.

The Saints dropped to 1-9.
