On Wednesday, April 20, 2005, CATHERINE DOUGHTY GORDON, age 60, of Perry Hall, and formerly of Eden, MD, died at her home in Perry Hall. Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Doughty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Steven Gordon in 1999. While living in Eden, Mrs. Gordon was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Parish in Salisbury, where she and her husband taught Sunday school for many years. For over 15 years she worked as an agent for Cooper Insurance in Salisbury. She enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Baltimore. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by a son and his wife, Steven and Claudia Gordon of Baltimore; a daughter and her husband, Jennifer and Thomas Robinson of Salisbury; and a son and his wife, Timothy and Trista Gordon of Parkvile; three special grandchildren, Nick, Paige and Ana; and a brother and his wife, Jim and Iris Doughty of Tyaskin. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 23 at 10 A.M. at St. Francis de Sales in Salisbury. Interment will be held at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
